For a long time now, I’ve been using download.com, home of free software and reviews to get free tools and to try new stuffs that I find interesting. Just today, they redesigned their site and promised a step up from the previous one. I browsed on their site and the first thing I noticed is that the site loads faster as they have said.
The new theme surpasses the lighter design that was now considered ancient. It is sleeker, more appealing to the present generation and we can now forget the ‘yellow and green’ motif by welcoming black-red stuff. In this shift, not only that they advanced the look but the content and features also pumped up. The pages still has sufficient amount of information yet it maintain the cleanliness and organization of the site. Without a hint of a doubt, this move has 5 star rating.
For more than a decade now, download.com with cnet.com provided ample information on technology news, reviews and downloads earning the trust of millions around the globe yet preserved the look of the site.
