You calm my raging seas, You walk with me through fire
You hold my every moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
And heal all my disease
These are the lines of the first verse from the song, “Healer”. The message is so powerful yet encouraging that it captivates thousands of worshipper around the globe in declaring that “God is our Healer.” The conviction climbs up more to the zenith as it declares, “Nothing is impossible.” The truth in the song is so profound that it is really a blessing to me and even in our church. But now, I really wonder and still in unbelief, how and why. It was just devastating.
Michael Guglielmucci is the song writer of the song, Healer. The song came with the announcement from him that he was checked-up with a terminal cancer. The tragedy and the song of faith made an impact to the world. But recently he admitted that his claim of having a cancer was all fake. Read the news.
I’m still in dazzle while writing this blog. I had just read the news. For me, it is hard to comprehend the reasons behind his actions. I wish I can share a thought but I don’t even have an answer to my own as of now. I think arguing about where the anointing resides, in the song or the song writer is not really relevant in this issue. The guy is seeking help, I heard. And I think the situation is really like a “raging seas.” Now, this is “walking through fire.” The distress is just unbearable in some level and my conviction whispers, I can still sing the song.

Though it is very hard to comprehend all the pains and hurts in these events, God’s grace is sufficient enough to flow and heal.
The same thing happened to me on a much smaller scale. I made a false claim that I was dying. And though I don’t really understand why, I think it is the way the human mind twists addictions and holds that the devil has on you. The song came from God, so I’m glad we can still sing it
Yow men, thats so terrible, but you know, we could learn a lot of things from that incident.GOD is so great and mighty in our liveS, he will not leave us nor forsake us, no matter what you’ve done, no matter who you are, its all about Jesus who died in the cross for our sins. Nobody is perfect, we all commit short commings and mistakes, but the great thing is that we have our God, whom we are following his foot steps, peace men, God bless. .

Well said.
