Microsoft Office is not alone
A common misconception among computer newbies is that they thought that the only lsolution for their documents, spreadsheets and some presentation is Microsoft Office. They don’t understand that there are other computer software program functions the same and even more efficient than Microsoft Office. This is why, when these people saw office files given by other people that doesn’t comply with Microsoft Office standard file extensions, some people panic and become nuts. Such is File Extension ODS.
This file extension is one of the files that can be used by OpenOffice. File Extension ODS is a spreadsheet file. It can contain records like that in Microsoft Excel. However, even though we know that the file is like the file of Microsoft Excel, one cannot just open it in Excel. The user must first convert the file into xls so that Microsoft Ecel can use it. But it is more advisable to use the file with OpenOffice. There is no much problem in this, because in the first place, OpenOffice is a Office suite just like Microsoft Office that is totally free.
If you have downloaded and installed OpenOffice but can’t still open ODS, maybe you have a problem in you registry. Some drivers maybe missing that is why you cannot open some file extensions. In this, it is recommend that you scan you’re registry for some conflict and errors. There is some easy way to do this and it is absolutely free of charge.
