Classic Game Room HD reviews the NINTENDO DS LITE handheld video game console! From Nintendo, the DS Lite has brighter screens and weighs less than the previous model but retains the Gameboy Advance slot that was f—-n removed in the Nintendo DSi. What!? They removed one of the best features?? Yes, yes the did. And the penalty is that CGR recommends the Nintendo DS Lite because of the MASSIVE library of awesome (and many not-so-awesome) games available on Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance media. The Nintendo DS (all models) have sole more than 115 million units putting it up there with Playstation 2 PS2 numbers. The PSP isn’t the portable Playstation 2, this thing is. The DS had a wide, eclectic array of software titles available for it. Awesome Nintendo exclusives, RPG games, adventure, 2D side scrollers, strategy and puzzle games. It’s built like a tank, has excellent battery life and even comes with a sometimes-cool touchscreen. @Sapphronful They all play original games. The main difference between this one in the video and the Next-Gen ones is that the DSi has a camera and added features. The 3ds has improved graphics and a 3d screen and you don’t need special glasses. The 3ds also has a Virtual Console which lets you buy Game Boy ( Original & Color ) games, and there’s 3ds exclusive games.
I really honestly do perferr the DS Lite 99% over the DS. Its like night and day, I cant believe thats only one break in next gen systems. I did, however, perferr the “Clicky” style of buttons on the DS over the DSL. It gives more positive feedback, and its just a better design IMO.

How does the dsi xl suck? It has a bigger screen, so you can better see whats going on, a better battery life so you can play longer and all the dsi exclusive features. Your comment just reeks of thumb whoring.
@TheCRAZYLEGS14 Oh my. Only six good games? Looks like my library mutated into twice that amount and all of them different titles no less.
@TheClash562 get the dsi if you want more features and better quality (slightly better) and get the ds lite basically if you want to play gba games (i prefer the lite because it doesnt have a firmware, which means you can play r4 cards).

I have ds lite , dsi and 3ds and I still think ds lite is the best for its simplicity and user interface . I actually prefer playing my ds lite over my Xbox 360 and wii !!!
Gamegear?never seen that or even any games for it on the shelves when I was younger…(I’m 13 :3) was it way back in the ninetys?
@eug3n91 The 3D actually works well maybe if you owned one you would see instead of making a Assumption without you owning one
my original ds is still the best fuck the rest.
