Fake Nintendo DS Lite from eBay (ice blue)
Do not always trust positive feedback on the profiles of sellers from China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. I know there are legit sellers out there, but please just make sure what you are buying.
Sorry for the lisp; I was a little too close to the camera, haha. Recorded in my dormitory, woohoo.

Nah, this is a refurb in a fake case with fake games that was described as “New”. And obviously a company such as Nintendo would NOT misspell their own name on a box.
I do own a real ice blue dslite now though. And it actually works, haha.
@AtomicJaz Not fake just used… you bought it on ebay where people sell the stuff they don’t want, or in this place can’t use. I have an ice blue ds that worked perfect for 2 years and now ds games don’t fit in it cause a peace seized up inside. Also some games are sold used with the booklet and stuff placed upside down because of the owners carelessness. Finally, in some cases manufacturers don’t notice some defects and some misplaced and/or broken items or labels such as the seal of approval
I am looking for a cheap ds on ebay, the alarm bells should go off when:
1- Chinese seller 2- Chinese seller 3- Over 9000 chinese sellers are selling over 9000 nintendo ds units. I am hoping to get one for less than 20 euro and see if it works. Seriously ebay needs to do something about the amount of chinese sellers selling substabdard goods.
DAMN you got scammed big time girl. I can picture factory’s in China mass producing fake products in selling them over ebay to U.S. resident. They’re making such a mad profit and their isn’t shit you can do about it since they’re off shore. :/
if it would take ds games,I might acually want to buy that off of u,cause tht looks soooooo awesome in icy blue.
I think its a gba in a ds lite case thanks for the heads up i certainly wont be buying from ebay now.
I’ve always known how to spot fake games/systems but I still buy them. If they work then it’s fine by me.
@MOrlando86
Yes, you are correct. Realistically, the console itself IS just a very poorly refurb’d DSLite. All the other parts (the games, the charger, and the box) are obviously fake though.
@Ph0Sho Thank you for warning me! Since my DS lite started displaying “White” and “Yellow/blue everything!” ive been desperate to fix it. But no. At least I can still use the GBA slot
That moment when you take apart your whole entire DS just to realize this was a tutorial on REPLACING your screen…
Great walkthrough. It the best I’ve seen on youtube. I was able to get my screen changed in no time. Thanks for posting this tutorial.
This sucks I know what to do already but I don’t have the right screwdriver to open the battery compartment! I have been looking through walkthroughs, but can’t find anything. Please help! I need help preferably today, tomorrow I go to Gamestop.
my top screen turns fuzzy black, the game is only slightly visible. If I hold down the L button, it goes back to normal, but sometimes, it will just go back to fuzzy after letting go of the L button. I have to hold for so damn long. Now its getting worse where it barley stays normal after holding it for a while. Will the instructions you’re giving help fix this problem?
please reply :
my ds is ripped in half completely, is it possible to attach a new upper half to the bottom half?
replacing the top screen on the original ds was much easier, im not sure why they got rid of it being that easy, but im sure it has something to do with hardware.
shen i turn mine on the top screen always turn out white thats my problem it done it when i was playing Bakugan Defenders of the core

you sound hot.
