@Spocktavian You have to remember the MegaDrive was developed in 1987 or 1988 and it was released around the world between 1988 and 1990, technology has come a long long way since then, the graphics and sound capabilities are better than the NES, but not quite as good as the Super NES, that’s progress for you, just remember that, there’s no real need to use offensive language like that.
Спасибо за обзор! Первая игра, показаная здесь – Golden Axe. С неё я начал знакомство с Sega больше 10 лет назад. Помню как покупал приставку вместе с этой игрой… Ностальгия ))
Anyone know if this is variable voltage? Just received mine and UK standard voltage is 240 and the ac adpator says 120. Don’t want to fry it. If the cosole is variable then perhaps I could change the adaptor for a 240 volt. Most electronics are worldwide voltage and say so on the back but this says nothing.
@NonstopRam and if your in america ( i’m not i’m in the u.k so my genesis is called mega drive ) thrift stores and you can always find video game shops glad to help
Does anyone else have a very low resolution screen? Please respond, I need to know if mine is broken.
The GenMobile is perfect, love having it on the train on the way to work to get my splatterhouse2 fix. I would not expect anything more in terms of quaility for the $50 price tag. It is what it is, a mobile geniesis. It’s not like you are going to use this as your home console, then you will be disappointed! This baby plays for hours! I have never timed straight thru it but I went a good 4days playing it on an average of 1 and a half hours a day and then I finaly had to charge it again.
yeah well, Nomad is bigger but its actually a Genesis, this other … thing … is a shitty Genesis-on-a-chip so they can reduce the main board using one single chip with horrible sound/graphic quality
But i guess is ok for most people, anyway Gameboy Micro is smaller and emulation deserve more quality than GOAC stuff
@tom3999 Actually, this is an officially licensed SEGA product. Surprisingly true. A quick google search will tell you this. It is listed at Amazon as officially licensed, as well as many other websites. Of course, you can’t really always believe what you see on the internet, but when numerous websites report the same about the product, this is pretty reliable information to go by. Also, to the side in related videos, you will see some people reporting it as official.
I knew the sound was going to be bad but it’s not as atrocious as I expected.
Really these console-on-a-chip clones are just emulators, you’re just using a physical cartridge instead of a ROM.
@Gamester81 sega gopher is like this….but with an sd card….i put a summary of the gopher on ur channel
