Nokia N-Gage Classic/Original (Taco) Pandemonium Gameplay
What the title says. Note that this is just a demonstration/gameplay video, so spare me the gaming ability comments. I tried a couple of games, and it was fun. I have about 60 n-gage titles, so i maybe upload some more in the future. This n-gage was cherry picked (lol) a year ago from a pile of scrap phones, for my collection, but it turned out that it works beautifully. Look-wise, it is in a bad shape. Nontheless, i managed to find a front and back original fascia in new condition albeit unmatched (gray front, silver back). Still needs a middle housing, which will be the trickiest part to find, and a keypad set (found), to be in new condition again.

If you’re running an N-Gage game, the Nokia N95′s multimedia buttons become gaming keys. For more info, news and reviews concerning the new N-Gage platform, see www.allaboutngage.com

i think this is the most over engineered phone nokia has ever built… still have may n-gage from2006 till now 2011… damn.. i’m still using it… the games are awesome!!!.. i hate to sa it but, i still love the games from my n-gage compare to my psp games…
@dogeymon83 Apple’s devices and services are good/great, but Android phones are much better.
I wish I had an HTC Desire HD, it’s not expensive but I don’t really like touchscreen stuff.
N-Gage didn’t get the love it deserved, I’m buying one again ’cause I sold mine to a guy who later died due to being electrocuted on a rail trail, yeah really weird it was on the news even (Portuguese – Portugal). I felt bad for his death but couldn’t do anything because I was kilometres away.
@FilMarck – right, well all I’m saying is the iPhone is certainly leaps and bounds beyond the N-gage. I loved that old system when I first got it, but its time to RIP has come. I’m invested in Apple so I can’t really imagine going with another product from another company with a whole new app store to start purchasing things all over again with. But I’m sure the HTC is great too.
@dogeymon83 I’ve played on an iPhone, it had digital buttons but other games required to move around the fucking phone which I hate.
iPhone is an outdated product, HTC does it better.
@FilMarck – No buttons means fewer parts, means less things to wear and tear. The only possible con is that I can’t text without looking at the screen. But you can use voice command for several things, and they will probably be updating it to support talking-to-text as standard very soon. Other than that, the iPhone 4 is a traveling power-house games console, and is basically a computer. Netflix, youtube, web browsing, iTunes, the list goes on and on and on. If you get one, you’ll know.
@dogeymon83 iPhone has no physical buttons like the N-Gage does.
N-Gage is a mobile phone with a designed portable console layout, iPhone’s just a phone without buttons.
@dogeymon83 Oh yes, n-gage was a milestone in s60. Hardware mp3 decoding, radio, usb, ability to record radio, line in….
@dogeymon83 Forgot to mention that this is just a requested demonstration video, so I don’t give too much attention to points
Thanks for the tip though
Oh by the way, at the very beginning of the first level, you forgot to jump into that statue to knock it over. It has a “freeze” powerup in it.
My good ‘ol N-gage. I really stuck by that phone from 2003 to 2010. But the seventh year was the last straw. It was just too dang outdated, and the iPhone is just brilliantly better in every way.
Try updating the firmware to the latest version. You can do it on your own computer with the Nokia Software Updater application, or take it to an authorised service centre and get them to do it.
Try updating the firmware to the latest version. Install the Nokia Software Updater from Nokia’s website on your computer if you want to do the update at home, or take your phone to a Nokia service centre if you want them to do it.
I have a question, I installed N-Gage on my mom’s N95 and when I tried playing FIFA 09 on it in horizontal mode I couldn’t use the media keys to play, I pressed the play button and it sent me to the music player, hmm, so if you know what’s wrong please let me know thnx!
how come when i press the Play/Pause button while playing ONE on Ngage, it automatically go to my music player?
The graphics in every location change according to the time of day in the game, so there’s a sunset everywhere if you fish at the right time of day.
I can’t remember which spot was in the video, maybe Scotland? I’m not sure.
Thank you for reply, I just installed it on my N95, but I can’t find the spot you are fishing, you know wit that sunset and surroundings, can you give me a clue where to find it ? Thx in advance
It’s called Hooked On: Creatures Of The Deep. It’s a first-party game published by Nokia, so it’s only available on N-Gage.
You can see videos of it on my channel.
You can use the media keys as N-Gage gaming keys on all the double sliders: N85, N95, N95 8GB and N96.
thats the question i had about n95
thx, this becomes a really handy gaming phone, just like the original ngage
